Hi, I’m Katie (she/her).
One of my strongest held beliefs is that everyone has the power they need to grow and change. Often where our paths intersect in therapy is the point at which the pain of staying the same is greater than the pain of growing. The opportunity to bear witness to this (sometimes painful) shedding of what no longer fits and rebirth (always astounding) into a new version of Self is an honor that I do not hold lightly.
I most often use the lenses of Internal Family Systems and Satir’s Growth model. I have been trained in attachment theory and much of my work is rooted in those core tenants. I have experience working with individuals and couples facing anxiety, depression, grief, infidelity, loss, parenting challenges, and rocky transitions.
I am currently pursuing clinical licensure and am under supervision with Dr. Chris Habben, Ph.D., LMFT – MO License #2013015030
